How jewels are born (II): how to reproduce a lost pendant

Today I show you one of the last custom-made commissions in sterling silver that has arrived at my treasure factory.

Pili found me online and wrote me an email asking if I could reproduce a pendant that she lost long ago. We did not take long to agree and she took the opportunity to ask me for some photos of the process.

The starting point was this photo of the lost pendant:

At first I thought about machining the part by computer and 3D printing. But thinking about it, I got down to work and it grew by itself, naturally and without missing any last-generation machine. Below are the photos of the step by step::

The ornamental complexity of the ring has succumbed to the desire to enjoy my discipline. It was a diversion: one of those few pieces that, despite being complicated, behave well and don't give you any problem. Could it be how easy we got on with Pili? Will it be a sign in this new beginning? Will it be the desire to enjoy my trade and dive into its sweet and salty waters?

What is clear to me is that I go back to my Treasures Factory to start the next challenge ;)
