The Catalan Goverment, through the Consorci de Comerç, Artesania i Moda de Catalunya (CCAM), has awarded me the Handicraft Product badge. D'A certifies that my jewels are of my own production and are made by hand using the processes of my trade and produced in Catalonia. In my case, in my workshop in Manresa, near Barcelona, kilometer zero.

It is a badge that allows buyers to have the guarantee that they are acquiring authentic Catalan crafts. It goes together with the professional artisan card, also issued by the Generalitat de Catalunya, which recognizes the technical, quality and design domain of one or more trades, in my case jeweler and goldsmith, with the number 15.521.

Like all official accreditations, they are a quality assurance system that favors both buyers and artisans. On the one hand, my clients are guaranteed that I will make my treasures myself, as a jeweler and artisan goldsmith. On the other hand, jewelers and goldsmiths like me can boast of the recognition of our trade.

It also serves to regulate the market. For example, to differentiate between brands that market products manufactured in series in countries far away from other brands, such as MeriTomasa, which design and manufacture exclusive treasures handcrafted in Catalonia.
