That day of the year that calls for drawing conclusions and setting new goals arrives... That day is today... 7 years ago I formalized my status as a self-employed worker under the signature of my name and my dream: MeriTomasa, the Treasures Factory.

First I want to thank each and every one of you for the trust you have placed in me to make special pieces. Thank you for so many challenges! Thank you for the beautiful words and evaluations that I have received along the way, and also thank you for the criticism that has allowed me to grow and improve.

And above all I want to thank those always present. Behind me there is a super team: my mother Ángela and Adrián (my business angel), my brother Isidro (my advisor and marketing manager), my sister Eva (the crafty one who helps me with structural feats), and my father Benedicto (which from another plane covers me with its wings). And today I add one more, my partner Jordi, self-employed like me, who snuggles me in his arms, and with his walk inspires me and acts as a mirror on this path of roses with thorns that we choose in our daily lives. Thanks also to my friends, for authenticity and sincerity, and for so much love compressed in doses of a short time.

As a purpose? First, eliminate the complaint, and second, focus on the verb to live.

Being autonomous implies many duties and few rights. I thought that if I survived the first five years, consolidation would come and uncertainty would go away. Nothing is further from reality. I accept it and decide to continue down this path. The purpose is to focus on new paths beyond what is strictly "my signature." Yes, I love my job, I adore it and I adore you. The thing is that I have the urgent need to live longer and better, to disconnect, breathe, exercise my body and soul, discover new places and love the ones I already know... and above all, enjoy my people consciously and with quality time .

The one in the photo is me today, Meri, the person behind the Treasure Factory. Without filters, happy, serene and very illuminated... Of course, today not so illuminated by the light of the fluorescent lights in the workshop, today I change it for the warmth of sunlight. ✨
