The difference between classic wedding rings and vintage wedding rings depends more on you than on me: probably the same wedding rings will be "a classic" for an older person who remembers the fashions of years ago and "vintage" for someone younger than look for a past style to differentiate yourself from "the modern". Definition of vintage: the fashion that grandparents like and drives grandchildren crazy, and that parents would never wear. If you are a fan of "the old is in fashion", yours are vintage wedding rings.
Classic wedding rings
Classic wedding rings: half-round wedding rings with a sparkle on the bride's wedding ring. Polished finish.
When our grandparents were looking for wedding rings, if they could afford them, they used to choose wedding rings made of 18 carat yellow gold, and depending on the budget, the width was around 4 to 6 millimeters. Adding a diamond to her wedding ring were bigger words and most of the finishes were without an exterior design: polished and shiny.
It only takes a little spin around the Internet to find out: currently the industry manufactures an endless number of serial alliances, among them the typical half-life alliances of a lifetime, all at scandal prices (usually with a trick: for example offering thicknesses that look more like a strand of thread than a wedding band).
My added value is to flee from that serial production: my classic custom wedding rings offer you a quality product for life, without tricks or baths, made by hand in my workshop and where you can choose even the smallest detail: section, thickness, material and finished. And with the certainty that this wedding ring that will accompany you for many years (hopefully many many years :-) is an exclusive jewel made by a zero kilometer jeweler and, very soon, of international fame (moment of self-promotion :)
Vintage wedding rings
Vintage wedding rings: Spike Design: a classic in yellow gold, although little seen in white gold. All handmade, including external engraving. Polished and shiny finish.
And you? Have you thrown the TV in the trash and instead put a flamboyant record player in your dining room? The best plan for the weekend is to shop around els Encants in Barcelona, Mauerpark in Berlin, el Rastro in Madrid or Camden and Portobello in London? Can't you conceive a Reus vermouth-free aperitif and a siphon with a lead plug? Do you throw up the rhinestones and bicolor jackets of the high school basketball team? Do sunglasses have to be huge or even more-than-huge? Isn't a living room trendy if there isn't a painting with a wooded mountain and a reindeer? Honey, vintage is you!
Grandparents' rings are back. But reread and reinterpreted.
Section, thickness, material and finish... there are possibilities to bore. And the most important thing is to find the one that best reflects you. That combination that fits as a ring to your finger not only physically. For example, with these vintage half-round wedding rings and spike design in white gold.
The possibilities are endless, but the goal is always one: at the MeriTomasa's Treasures Factory I do not offer personalized wedding rings. I offer that your personalized wedding bands are a little piece of you. That you, the couple, define the design. It may be from a story that unites you, from a symbol that excites you or from an idea that gives you a spark. We specify measures, thicknesses, textures and finishes. We choose white gold, yellow gold or sterling silver...
And you? Aren't you looking for who turns that little piece of you into wedding rings?
