Catalan thought always sprouts and survives its deluded gravediggers

It is by Francesc Pujols, author of "La tardor barcelonina", one of my brother Isidro's favorite books. Surely you know it because it begins with the two most fantastic lines that have ever been written to start a novel: «I had a farmhouse in the Catalan mountains and burned it. Later I will tell why I burned it.»

I know little about these references, but my brother Isidro says that my Good Judgment brooch and my new Wisdom Teeth collection have a lot of Pujols and also of some other enfants terrible like Pau Riba or Sisa, for the galactic thought of Poble-sec and records like The Galactic Cookie and songs like «Oranges and rice». And later, with illustrious heirs such as Joan Miquel Oliver or Perejaume (with priceless works such as "L'enclavament de Bellaterra").

I'm not a singer-songwriter, but I'm very flattered by these references. I've been thinking about my trial for years. When I studied in Córdoba, a city with a long jewelry tradition, I always promised to take advantage of the end-of-year holidays to make it a reality. The years go by and this past 2017 I finally found the opportunity. Three wisdom teeth I keep from three adventures at the dentist and a silver reconstruction that is missing, which I did not think to claim. All mounted on bronze and with orthodontic elastics. I like to think of myself more as a craftswoman than as an artist, although I have made amends and am learning. Del Brooche El Buen Juicio I would like to make a limited series of 50 to 100 units to get a little money. It would be very Catalan, in the Dalinian sense, alias "Avida Dollars". But my trial teeth are only 4 and the three I keep I have already amortized in my brooch, so the idea is to make a small limited series with reproductions in sterling silver, pin-shaped and safety pin.

It is a collection designed and forged in my Manresa workshop. Doing a little seriation allows me to offer it to you at cheaper prices and send it home in much shorter time frames. In any case, you can boast of wearing a zero kilometer jewel of artisanal manufacturing.

The safety pin is one of my favorite jewels. I only wear the brooch at very special parties and instead I have left the safety pin discreetly in a coat that I often wear in winter. When I take him for a walk, people ask me what I have in my safety pin. "It is my good judgment," I reply, and they smile.

I end with another quote (today I am over-the-top), but in order not to seem too localistic I choose one from an author who was not Catalan, and that sums up very well everything I am explaining:
