I have been doing private jewelery classes for years but it is the first time that I have started teaching a group course and I am very excited to finally announce it. When I met Arnald Climent from Kum Boo School of Jewelry, I asked him to take a new course in Jewelry Repair, offering myself as a teacher. She immediately said yes and we began to study the idea. After months of preparation, we premiere this July. 16 hours divided into 4 sessions, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, July 2, 4, 9 and 11, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in Barcelona. Surely you have ever faced the challenge of having to repair a jewel: modify ring sizes, weld chains, repair damaged areas, change welded clasps... My Jewelry Repair course is designed to give you the theory, but also practice, to address these challenges with a solid foundation.

One of the coolest things that jumping into the pool and creating The MeriTomasa's Treasures Factory has given me is that in addition to being my own boss in my own jewelry workshop also given the opportunity to share knowledge, techniques, tricks and a thousand and one anecdotes between torches and shipyards. Being a jewelry teacher is my best way of demanding that I keep up to date with the latest in technique and trends and learn to share my best tricks.

The course is aimed at jewelers and junior jewelers with experience working with precious metals and who want to take a step forward on techniques of repair and remodeling of jewelry already used.

The classroom we work in is a professional workshop, with a jeweler's table for each student and the tools of a professional jewelery workshop. It is the photo that heads this post, but with me as a teacher :-)
