Give me a repeat customer and I'll move the world

Josep's design for his necklace with three little mice.

Archimedes said: "Give me a point of support and I will move the world". And he said it this way because he was a mathematician, astronomer, philosopher, physicist, and engineer. If he had been freelance or jeweler, Archimedes would have said "Give me a repeat customer and I will move the world" :)

Josep knocked again on the door of The MeriTomasa's Treasures Factory. This time he was looking for a gift for his mother, from his two brothers and himself. The design was based on the affectionate "my little mice" with which their mother always referred to them, but converted into sterling silver and yellow gold plated. As you can see in the attached design, Josep does not leave any detail to chance: he sent me an exact detail of how he wanted his necklace. But it is also advisable, which is my job, so we made a couple of changes to that original design:

• Eliminate those "mouse tails", which could end up snagging or scratching the skin. Better to avoid them to give the jewel better usability.
• Add some final rings to ensure that the chain fits more or less and can be easily made larger or smaller.
