Legend has it that Amalur, Mother Earth, created the Eguzkilore flower to protect men at night, like a sun that illuminates giving light and protection in the night darkness to men against evil spirits, witches, lamias, geniuses of sickness, storm and lightning. Its name derives from Basque: Eguzki (Sun) + Lore (Flower).

Angela commissioned me with a silver eugzkilore to wear as a pendant, to chase evil spirits away from her and attract the blessings of Amalur.
