Pere wrote me an email with the title "Crazy Idea":
I am writing to ask you, once again, to help me shape an outlandish idea, let me know what you think and let me know if it is feasible.
For many days I've been wanting to treat myself to a stiff bracelet (in my house I've always heard them referred to as "slaves"). And a few days ago, Kasia said that she would like to have hoop earrings, as well as big ones that dangle a bit.
So far everything normal ;)
However, it occurred to me that in fact, the three pieces could have the same invoice, and be linked to each other. I am attaching a bad sketch to try to explain myself better.
The idea is that both the earrings for Kasia and the slave for me have the same design and are made with two, and the same, materials. In the sketch I'm giving you, you'll see them painted blue and orange.
I imagine both the earrings and the slave as two tubes/cylinders, a very narrow one that goes inside and a second, thicker one that covers the first one. In addition, the first material, at one end would also take the thickness of the second and so it could be seen from the outside (although if it is not explained, no one will know that it also goes inside).
Then, with this design in mind, the materials for the earrings and the slave would be reversed. The material of the thin cylinder of the earrings would serve for the thick cylinder of the slave, and vice versa.
From here I don't know much else what to say. I don't know if what I'm saying is technically possible or not. About the particular details of each piece (the materials that should be combined - plates with different finishes, silver and gold, I don't know!!-, the exact shape, the sizes, the thicknesses, the closures,...) I have no idea.
If the idea seems feasible to you and you see it well and have time, I would love it if you could do it for us. Don't rush, because since it's for us, no one is waiting for us (it will be a surprise for Kasia, of course).
And if you see it well, but it doesn't seem feasible on a technical level, let's keep talking about it because new designs will surely emerge.
In short, it's my favorite formula: if you can imagine it, I can do it. I am your hands to turn that treasure that surrounds you into precious metal.
The MeriTomasa's Treasures Factory is specialized in custom jewelery tailored to suit all tastes and budgets: wedding rings, headbands, earrings, pendants, brooches, bracelets, rings, tiaras... My value proposition is to create products where it is you who decides the shape, materials, finishes... That you can be part of the manufacturing process and thus begin to fill the object with something more sensitive than the lavishness that metal brings. It is a more intimate, romantic, exclusive and quality work.
So don't think about it any more: fill in the form and tell me what is your idea. I will answer you with a budget and without any obligation. Everything is possible at The MeriTomasa's Treasures Factory!
