You design your wedding rings: I am your jeweler's hands!

Cinta and Juanma discovered me by searching on Google for whom to order their wedding rings and they guessed that The MeriTomasa's Treasures Factory was exactly what they were looking for: a place where you design your jewelry and I advise you and I tell you, but you decide how will your wedding rings be.

Cinta and Juanma designed their alliances to the millimeter. I have only been the technical advisor: what can and cannot be done, and what I advise you and what I do not advise you. I tell you options to guide your decisions, or to make your design viable. And, yes, in the end I am also the one who physically makes your rings :D

Black gold does not exist. There is no black precious metal in its natural state and therefore these colors are obtained through baths or oxidation. In the case of white gold, with a black rhodium plating. But the bathroom always tends to get lost with friction, so my advice is to apply formulas to the design to make it more durable.

The starting point was an evolution of Cinta's engagement ring: a black ring with a silver centerline. The idea for the wedding rings was to make them with that same flat section, with the same polished and slightly rounded interior, but with two polished strips on the edges and the dark area between those edges with a chaos hammered texture. Cintia and Juanma sent it to me in detail: a photo of the engagement ring and that same image retouched with a design program of what they wanted for the alliances.

We specified the millimeters and hundredths of each part and I explained some more technical things: the rounded edges, the differences between the three possible ways to make the internal engraving and the finishing of the rhodium plating to complete a white gold jewel... and the impossibility of working with "black gold".

Black gold does not exist. We can darken the gold, but there is no such thing as deep black gold. There is no black precious metal in its natural state and therefore these colors are obtained through baths or oxidation. In the case of white gold, with a black rhodium plating. But the original metal will always be gold and the plating always tends to get lost when rubbed, so my advice is to apply formulas to the design to make it last longer. For example, sinking the "black" part more than the rest: hence the advantage of those polished 1mm edges, so that the 3mm section of "black gold" is deeper and more protected against friction.

Juanma also sent me the inside inscription, with the exact typeface in which they wanted to make it. The design and creative idea of this inscription is also by Juanma y Cinta.
